Lulu Costume from Anime North 2005
Character is from FFX


Costume construction took about 5 months to complete.
Boned corset made from silk and canvas; dress is pvc and painted with acrylics; fur is faux; underskirt made from 24 individual faux leather belts sewn together in a weave. Necklaces and hair accessories made with Scupley, wire and assorted beads.

Wow I like you lulu costume I was want to to know if you can tell me how you did the belt skirt. I planing on cosplay as lulu for all con in help would be nice thank you for your time.

No doubts, if lulu was real, she would look like that. Very nice job with the belts and making the top stay in place. Didn't think it was possible, congrats.

I'm currently in the process of making a lulu cosplay and as seeing as you had already done one I decided to ask for advice. How did you do the decorations to the dress? Were they the painted part or did you actually sow them?
